Chiroso....BUT WASHED! The last time we had one from Nestor is was his insane thermal shock Chiroso which was VERY different. This washed version is so....ODD but in a very pleasant way. Don't get scared! It's actually so delicious. Super floral...one of the most outstanding floral coffees we've had and with this lingering pineapple/fingerlime finish...it's a must try coffee for those of us that crave something different, out of the box, that isn't a natural fermented for 12 months in caves where rare dragons live. We just want something clean and beautiful. It's rare for us but, when it's that time, it's pretty great!
What is Chiroso?
Chiroso is most likely a mutation of the [Caturra](/coffee/varietals/caturra) variety, which historically has been planted around Urrao in [Colombia](/coffee/countries/colombia).
They still actually aren't 100% sure. I love a great mystery!
