Nestor lasso

Very very exciting coffees come out of El Diviso & the hands of Nestor & Adrien Lasso. Competition level coffee is what they do. Weird and wild things from their special expert craftsmanship minds. This washed anaerobic is another example of what the Lasso family is able to do. To create something that screams from the cup & from the mountain tops where it originated from.

This is definitely not a coffee you'd drink everyday. It's the occasion coffee. It's the Sunday brunch, impress your friends kind of coffee. It's a gift, as all coffees are, to us who are glad that we have people who care this much about what they do as to continue innovating & letting us peek behind the curtain of that innovation.

El Diviso

Finca El Diviso located in the heart of Bruselas, Huila. El Diviso is owned by Nestor and Adrian Lasso alongside Jhoan Vergara, with this partnership enabling a strong combined driving force to bring their amazing coffees to the attention of the speciality marketplace. They grow exotic varieties including this Sidra Bourbon, Pink Bourbon, Yellow Bourbon, Aji Bourbon, Geisha and Ombligon.

They have a passion for breaking down all the conventional codes of coffee production, experimenting with exotic varieties, micro organisms, and different fermentation methods.

Nestor Lasso and his brother Adrian took over the family farm and branched out into specialty coffee and experimentation rather than growing coffee like their parents. Today, at 22 and 24, the two brothers have teamed up with Jhoan Vergara, also the child of a coffee farmer, to create El Diviso. El Diviso brings together the two-family farms, El Diviso (Nestor and Adrian Lasso) and Las Flores (Jhoan Vergara), close to the town of Pitalito, in the Huila region of Colombia. This partnership was great as these 3 young guys united their knowledge to improve quality.
